Granted a Trademark in 1835. There were 4 sons and 2 left around 1850 the other 2 either merge the name to Mappin & Webb around 1861. The reason for the info is this Ferrier's Knife came with 4 other older English knife and it caught my attention. It has a missing main blade a broken pen blade. The Stag is about as Gnarly as it comes. Just amazes me how they were able to do such quilt work. Would like to know if anyone has the missing main blade. According to their catalog it is a Sheep Foots Blade. Look at the Scissors & Tweezer that are with it amazing again
