A Couple of nice ones today.

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

A Couple of nice ones today.

Post by Mossdancer »

Hello:
Found the filet knife at an estate sale. They are not rare but I had never seen one. The Gentleman said he thought manufacture start in the Seventies. Bought the other new at a special occasion at a newly opened Knife Store a few miles down the road. A really nice guy was there and signed both for me. Joe, when you have the chance you might tell him Thank You for me again. I had him put the name of the store on the new one. It is in Gearhart, Oregon.

I'd say "a couple of nice ones" too WB.

I'm like you and haven't seen one of those filet knives before.

Getting them signed gave you a couple of real keepers. Nice score! ::tu::
