And the sorry part of it is/was I had just bought one two months before.

John, that is pure excellence! I eagerly await the day I have a Candiru hanging from a lanyard around my neck.

I'll stop this topic hijack on my end bud, with "Holy-Molly, another Trifecta"! lol! In all seriousness though, congratulations to both of you, long-term marriages are becoming a thing of the past, I'm envious.jmh58 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 06, 2023 1:46 pmThanks.. 47yrs we have been together.. Re: What's your last knife of 2022?
Thanks, Marco! Saw photos of this one before Christmas and just figured I’d pass on it. Then it showed up Christmas morning as a present from my wife. I fell in love with it! It actually looks a whole lot better in person than what I saw in the photo. The photos made it look very purple, but it’s not. It really has a nice deep, rich color to it. It’s called “Sugar Plum.”

What would we do without our faithful loving wives my friend, right? In your picture on my screen it definitely looks like "Sugar Plum", not a hint of purple!

Awesome pick-ups, gents. Finally took the last knife I purchased in 2022 out of the tube. I thought/think the translucent scales are pretty cool looking, Coffee House Acrylic, I like the shield too. Excellent fit and finish.

Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

I may need to go back to work to have time to do stuff that I found time to do when I had a job.
Thanks for the advice.
