Very cool! I was gifted a RR Loomfixer with red and white Christmas handles a couple of years back. I like the green!

Sweet additions! Especially like the green & white with the red shield. Great color combo! ::nod:: ::tu:: :D

Colonel26, does this qualify as a loomfixer? Boker celebrated stag.

Actually my Boker says improved cutlery not celebrated. Even though I’m celebrating that I found this knife! Ha!

I don’t think I see a secondary pen blade, is that just the pic or is the knife a single blade? Kabar did make a Loomfixer, but they also made a single sheepsfoot blade knife too.

A Loomfixer has that swayback handle shape, 4”, a main sheepsfoot, and a secondary pen.

But like the Boker, send it here and I’ll look it over for verification!

Nice knives guys.

I’d say Yes on the Boker being a LoomFixer as long as it is close to the correct dimensions.

The single blade KA-BAR with the shackle is what I’d call a rope knife.

The kabar does only have the one blade. That Boker is short also! 3 1/4” Damn, I’m loom fixerless! This small Boker could only fix a child’s loom I guess. Ha!
I’ll have to dig a little deeper to find a sure enough loomfixer now. This has become a quest colonel.

Thanks eveled for the info. I had never heard of a knife called a loomfixer before the colonel. I’m learning alot in my old age for sure! I’ll hold on to these 2 colonel since they don’t qualify anyway. They would look real inferior to those great full size loomfixers of yours! You have a great collection!

That Boker being a little smaller than a LoomFixer I think would be a New England Whaler.

Beautiful stag on it. Its a great knife.

Here's my only one that I know qualifies to be a loomfixer, an XX 6217:
Don't be leavin' your any finger between the frame or the blade, this one has super snap. I can appreciate half stops with this one for sure!

Enough metal left to still be a great knife!

I agree colonel, I love ‘em for what they are. I actually have another almost loomfixer. It’s just a bit small at 3 1/2” but a great knife. It’s etched lambsfoot on the main blade. I’m gonna fool around and get addicted to this loomfixer knife if I ain’t careful.

Got this KA-BAR Loom Fixer last week. Won cheap. It's been heavily used but still has plenty of use left in it. I like it.

That’s awesome! I’ve looked in and off for a long while fkr a Kabar version. I’ll look for a while, nothing. Then I get distracted by something else, and they show up. Lol.

That one will make a great user.

i looked for a long time and gave up. One popped up a few years back that was really nice and went for a tidy sum. Haven't seen another till this one showed up. I was the only one who bid on it so got it cheap.
