That is quite an impressive collection, thanks for sharingBoji wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 1:37 am What else do I collect? I try to collect $100 bills but they don’t seem to stick around.
I do collect some “girly” things. Jewelry of various kinds and ages. My favorite is vintage Bohemian Garnet jewelry. I won’t bore you guys with details. I do have a decent gun collection of my own. And automatic knives.
My late husband collected many things. Knives were his biggest interest which is what brought me to AAPK. He had thousands, from junkers to high$$$$ customs. I have given away and sold most of them.
Hundreds of Duck & goose calls, those too have been given to his hunting buddies and sold.
And Stetson hats, I kept one that I liked. The rest have sold.
And a lot of Native American pottery, some I have sold, will add pictures of what I’m keeping for now.
And small hand made duck decoys and decorative fish decoys
And pocket watches some I’ve sold, still have some.
Straight razors, cigar cutters, clocks, books, and whatever else I can’t recall right now.
I am fortunate that he shared a lot of information about all of these things. And the stuff he bought on eBay he printed out the information about it.
A point I’m trying to make to you guys with collections, does your wife or family have any interest or knowledge about them? If not you will be leaving a huge burden to them when you pass.
Now for a few pictures ACC4DC82-AF4F-463E-B6EC-223626536DFA.jpeg86E067DB-E128-4A46-AE66-28C503B173FB.jpeg43D4797E-B2CD-4743-9608-42B5CDF942A6.jpegF5E2B9F2-2397-45A6-8FFF-686468AC9480.jpeg7AD244B6-617E-4FB0-AA6D-93E4E05C2B1C.jpeg1A15DC41-DA28-40BE-A98B-7204D6686BF3.jpeg94186E4F-581E-45AA-A388-278DB8B771BC.jpeg
Thanks, TPK. I know I forgot a couple, three or four. Have to unpack them and see who I missed at some point.TPK wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 5:10 pmWow! Impressive collection!MissouriGuerrilla wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 12:03 pm I was collecting autographs, but life kept me from pursuing them so vigorously. My mother was an elevator girl at the old Townhouse Hotel in Kansas City, Kansas in the fifties and she got a few autographs while she worked there. The Townhouse is known as the hotel Patsy Cline stayed in before boarding her last flight. Mom had already left there by that time. My collection includes...
Bob Denver, Dawn Wells and Russell Johnson (Gilligan, Mary Ann and the Professor)
Jerry Lewis
Don Knotts
Johnny Cash
The Wilburn Brothers
Roy Acuff
Frank White (former Royals second baseman)
Albert Lewis (former Chiefs and Raiders cornerback)
Bob Barker
Freddy Fender
Ed Asner
Jennifer Jones
All four original members of KISS
Wrestling manager, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
Wrestler, Sid Vicious
Bill Clinton (My grandparents got that one when he was running for Governor of Arkansas)
Michael Tucker (former Royals outfielder)
There's a few more, but I can't remember them. I have them packed away in hopes of displaying them in my home at some point.![]()

I don't know a thing about stones or how to use them right.Wish I did but I don't. I just use my Lansky sticks.
Add: If you look to the top right corner of this post you will see a round white Case stone laying on a small Maryland flag. The stone is on the back side of that what you see. Used only for pictures though.

Thank you very much for your kind offer Don!
