If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Nice dog, dog. He looks like he's waiting for orders- walk, treats or a car ride. ::nod::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Here’s one of our many cats, Tiny Tuff. This is a picture of her on the way to the vet to get fixed when she was little. She has since lost the use of her front leg from the knee down from an injury, but she is still as ornery as ever.

Wonderful felines, everyone! ::tu::

Here's a recent photo of Bluegrass. I think it's one of his best photos yet.

Here’s a pic of our cat Noah. We rescued him when he was a kitten from a shelter called the ARK. He is 11 now. Back last year I Walked in the bathroom and there he was resting in the sink. Must think it’s his personal watering hole!

Thanks, Jimbo! ::handshake:: And Noah is a handsome little fellow. I think cats like to lounge in the sink when it's warm...a few of mine have done that.

Sweet pets, everyone!

Ireland was helping me test a transformer last night, using a bump-n-go trolley. Ran for over 2 hours and didn't get hot.

This is Wildfire and she's actually not a pet, but a feral cat I've been working with for just over a year. She has been in the neighborhood for a good while and I was sitting out food for her. One day she showed up with 2 kittens and I knew I had to take some action. When the kittens were old enough, I managed to trick her into a live trap and took her and got her spayed. While she was there, I came back and got the kittens and took them to be adopted. Then picked up Wildfire and brought her back. She has been in the area ever since. Most of the neighbors know her because she is a calico and very distinctive. You can't catch her, and she doesn't like to be petted. We've came a longways and just recently she has started to come into my screened in sunroom. I made her a bed out there and she seems to enjoy that and the food I give her as well. She's still feral and will bring me the occasional mouse or bird that she catches. I hope she lives a long life and enjoys the freedom she has. Just reading up on this and most feral cats only live 2-3 years due to living conditions. When they fight with other cats, they get scratches that become infected and leads to problems. Antifreeze is also a common cause of death in feral cats. They will lick it up off the pavement. Hope she avoids all of that.

Thanks, Jimbo, she's usually chasing her mother around the house, playing Ambush.

Very cool, Bob. We have a bunch of barn cats and they live the same lifestyle. I call the dirty one Hobo, looks like it's been playing in a coal car. This is 4 of the several.

How do you keep them from spreading so fast? At the rate the females have kittens you'll have a colony in no time. I was reading about experimental birth control for cats that they are starting to set out in big cities where the cat population can get out of hand. Hopefully that will become a common practice.

Great names! There are a bunch of feral cats roaming about my place, too: Matthew, Marshmallow, Isabel, and Camille/Celeste (both of the girls have been spayed, fortunately).
