Another non authentic Remington

The seller states this is a vintage Remington from the 30's. Not so.

And the same seller has a lovely Winchester (artificial leg joint) on Ebay also.

I don't really know that much about Remingtons but the stamp looks way new. What else am I missing?

The very first thing I spotted were the bone handles. They are not even close to the originial Remington jigging, the pattern is way different. And the blades are not high carbon steel as were the originials, I would be willing to wager that the blades were made in a different country.

I have noticed in the last four or five years that there are alot of knives out that has this same bone jigging. They will be tang stamped Remington, Winchester, New york knife Co, whatever. Becareful don't buy because it is stamped like one of the good companies.
