For the past year or so I’ve been carrying a Case Tribal Lock. It’s a nice all around knife that just feels good in your hand. For its size it has some weight to it. It doesn’t feel like a play toy if you know what I mean. Plus for a knife that has some heft to it it’s relatively slim and fits unobtrusively in your pocket. The 3” spear point blade can easily handle any task from cutting up some fruit to quickly opening a box or letter.
I like the fact the blade locks in place for extra safety and it has that familiar Case snap every time I close it up. Additionally you won’t chip a thumb nail opening her up. The blade sits up and away from the handle so you can pull it up with your fingers. The CV blade stays nice and sharp for me. Plus it’s just got that classic old school look … like me. lol

Beautiful knife, really like that blade and micarta. And excellent nature shot, like a pic from a catalog. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Good looking knife and bones. Good to hear when one works so well you don't want to switch it out for year. That's saying something. Congrats on finding the one.

No, I haven’t had any problems with the blade release lock mechanism. I assume that’s what you’re talking about.

I have several of the Ganzos and they have held up well to a lot of abuse. So far, a good value. In fact, I am carrying one right now ::nod::

Awesome pictures, r&tc. What's that plaque on your second to last picture, specifically, what does the 3559 signify?

It's part of an incomplete trail from Eugene to the Pacific Crest Trail and that section runs on US Forest Service road so I'm thinking it's connected to the FS road #

I kept adding stuff as it was required over the past week or so, but I really didn't take it out of my work/town pants when it wasn't needed until laundry day.

Well, I think I went overboard.
