Re: Stockman Knives
Longtime Stockman fan here, been carrying one since 1972 and have owned many. My favorite size for EDC use is 3-1/2" (+/-) and I strongly gravitate to the Case 18 frame, Schrade 897UH/98OT frame, and the Case 32 frame (but plenty of room for a 34OT, Buck Cadet, etc). Here are a few of my Case 18's. OH

Re: Stockman Knives
Found the big (4-1/4") ULSTER Stockman today in a "$4 junk knife" box at an antique shop. What amazes me is the bones are worn smooth but the blades, though stained, are nearly full. The coper and spey have been sharpened and the main is just slightly used. The knife was obviously pocket worn but not much sign of use ?????? I'm going to rehandle it in Brazilian rosewood. Stay tuned. J.O'.

This is a case 6318 me and my dad revived a few years back. I made the blades out of bear mgc leftover steel and dad rehandled it in pearl.

Re: Stockman Knives
I love a big Stockman, but the main reason I picked this one up was the inlays in the handle. I had never seen one before (in person) with that inlay. I was a show and there it was and I had to have this one.Oledadsknives wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 2:41 am Nice stockman gsptopdog. I like the inlays in the handle!
