Camillus #9 with Some New Handles
I used some stabilized, dyed box elder wood for the handles on this one and cleaned up the blade a bit. It's got some pitting on the front and rear of the blade but its still got some life left in it.
Thanks for looking!
Jeff

Awesome work Jeff! That dyed, stabilized box elder looks very cool. Did you dye and stabilize it yourself?

Thanks!
I buy the stabilized wood pieces from an online source. It’s a little bit pricey but it’s a high quality product that looks great and performs well.

That looks really great!
I like the unique look of those handles. It really makes this knife stand out in a crowd (in a good way!)

Great work as per usual. That’s the first time I believe I’ve seen the stabilized box elder!

Beautiful work as always Jeff!! I carry my Old Timer 80T with the ram horn scales I got from you last year, on special occasions, it is one beautiful knife. I will be in my pocket Christmas week. Thanks,

Good looking knife Jeff! I like box elder burl, but most I have has such a large burl pattern to it that it really needs a fixed blade with a large handle surface to properly display the beauty of the wood. That fine burl pattern that you chose for this knife is perfect! You get to see a lot of pattern that makes it a real piece of eye candy!
Nice work as usual!
