Outstanding job on the repair from Shawn!
Wouldn't mind seeing a few more pictures of it fully opened up and some close up of that beautiful bone!

Re: Slot knife (hobo)
Here’s another slot knife . After seeing Harold’s with bone covers went on the prowl for one . And this one ended up in the pile here . Both the fork and knife have the 4 line stamp. Have never seen the spoons stamped . Looked at the Red Cross model and a few others and no stamps on the spoons there either. This one the fork is having some plating issues .will keep it oiled up and in a dry spot and hopefully that will stop . The rest of the piece is in great shape .
Harold, hope you don’t mind tagging this onto your OP ? Thought it was a good place rather than starting a whole new thread .
Does anyone have a slot knife( Camillus ) with wood (Ebony ) covers ?
Take care out there .

You guys are killing me with these. I love the unique and obscure.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: Slot knife (hobo)
Hey a big Thank you Floyd,Harold,Skip ,MB and John for the feedback .
John( Redrider) , they are a unique piece! Can you imagine this is what someone would travel with or go to outings, etc, and actually use.
Still haven’t seen one in Ebony or Cocoabolo yet. They used wood on the Red Cross Spoon/ knife but yet to see it on a slot knife by Camillus?
Just pondering , any thoughts or other slots out there ?
