I picked up a slew of knives at the Bear and Son factory sale yesterday. This post: Moore Maker knives only.
Moore Maker lockback Trappers
Moore Maker lockback Trappers
Three double-lockback trappers, yet all different. They appear to be great working knives, but the largest one is really beefy - almost too much for my pockets. I may make a belt sheath for it.

Moore Maker trappers

This Texas Trapper in blue bone is even more gorgeous in person. It has the Texas star on one side, and a shield on the other side shaped like the state of Texas.
The yellow Trapper and the Hunter should be getting new handles soon.

MM Stockman and a trapper
MM Stockman and a trapper
I only bought one Moore Maker Stockman. All of the Moore Maker knives have carbon steel blades, but this one already has some spotty patina on the blades (just the way I like 'em!) Then my last Trapper has horn handles. I am not fond of plain black horn, so it will probably get new handles as well.

I bought more knives as well, but will put them in a second post.

More knives from the Bear and Son factory sale:

A "Mt Ida Arkansas" stockman, a Remington bird Stockman, and my first real Damascus knife! The yellow bone on this one is gorgeous in hand, I just need to pick out a replacement shield for it.

The 5-bladed Stockman is #60 from a set, and each blade has a different signature from one the owners in the family.
The 3-blade has carbon steel blades.

Mini Trappers
Mini Trappers
Bear & Son brand, and "Mt Ida Arkansas" brand mini Trappers (already posted in another thread).

Lastly, I bought two "Col. Littleton" Canoes in Orange Bone. These are unfinished, with the bone handles standing up above the liners (which is why they don't yet have that classic Canoe shape). It shouldn't take much to fix them. I just loved the color!

I've been to that sale several times. You can find some decent knives if you take the time to
pick through the thousands there ... and resist the elbows of the crowd.

Rev, congratulations, that's quite a pile of knives!
I personally like the hunter in the second picture of the 1st batch. I see the small crack, but that yellow handle would make that one almost impossible to lose in the woods! The yellow handles remind me of the old days, lots of the cowmen and farmers carried knives with the yellow handles just because they were easy to keep up with.

I finally bought a Chinese Rough Ryder knife. It has D2 steel and green oak handles, a Kayak model. It works smoothly and I am impressed.

But I am glad to own this beauty. EI Sowbelly.

Welcome to the forum Slick1 I had one butterfly knife and almost cut myself with it, so I normally don’t collect them, but look to be quality knives. ::welcome::

That is beautiful! I have few sowbelly patterns, but find them very appealing. They are hard to pass up when I find them in my price range!

::welcome:: to AAPK Slick! ::handshake:: Your early Benchmade could be quite valuable, considering the prices I see their 42's selling for these days. Your Samurai I couldn't say. I just bought my very first Balisong from Amazon, and it has a dagger blade my favorite grind, but it is strictly to represent the style in my collection, I have no desire to lean "flipping"! Your 2 are very attractive! 8)

I placed an order with my pal Jamie, and he sent it in 2 packages, one with the 2 assisted models in case it was seized by Customs, and one with the 3 slip-joints, and these today are the assisted ones that got through just fine! My very first Kershaw 1600 "Leek" frame-lock in all silver, and a Ganzo FB7651-GR assisted axis-lock manual! Thanks buddy! ::handshake:: 8)

Marco, I predict you are going to love that Kershaw Leek's Speed Safe opening system. It's slickern' snot on a door knob.

I love it already Jerry! ::tu:: I'm already looking into a model with a stud not a blade-stop that's also a liner-lock not a frame-lock, I think those will be nice too! I finally get it what all the hubbub was about! Most descriptive example too Jerry! lol! 8)

I, too, am a HUGE fan of Kershaw Leeks. In fact, I believe I put more EDC miles on my very first (part-serrated, frame-lock) Leek than I have on all my other EDC knives combined. Great knife, good score. (And, flipping it open is as much fun and equally addicting as a switchblade, mark my words!) ::nod::

In the very short time I've had my Leek ~Q~, I'm addicted already! I totally agree also that these knives flip open so fast and smoothly you'd think you'd just pushed the button on an auto! No progress on that other thing just yet, likely tomorrow! 8)
