Nice ones Charlie. I meant to comment on the Canoe set when you posted those. I had that complete set with matching serial numbers about 7 years ago. SMKW had those made back when. They are nice canoes.
I can’t read the etching on the blade on the yellow handled one. What does it say?

I wish mine had matching serial numbers. I put the set together one piece at a time when I could find them so they have different numbers. Finding each knife was hard but finding matching numbers is almost impossible unless someone is selling a matched set.

The yellow canoe has the name Sequoyah and his image etched on the master blade, part of another set I'm trying to complete. There are also six canoes in the set but I have only acquired this one so far.

Something is outgassing in that tackle box. What a shame, it was a good knife.

Yes I’ve got it soaking to eliminate the rust after that we will see where we can get this canoe to.

It's a Boker so you know the steel is good. A little TLC, some gentle time on the belt sander with 600/800 grit, and some Wahl oil will make it a good EDC. Might want to use some Brasso on those bolsters too. It ain't a turd cause no matter how hard you polish, a turd is still a POS. This little gem can be a useful tool again after some rehab. 5 bucks well spent. ::tu::

I’ll keep you updated on it as I work it back from turd-ville

Well after Evapa-Rust soak and some 3000 grit wet diamond sanding paper it looks better, going back with some heavier grit paper to try and remove the pitted area on main blade, but very good results for very little effort.
