Nice group Ken, how do you like the Benchmade Bugout? I have been sorely tempted to get one for the light weight and love the blade profile. Would love some review if you feel like it. Good lookers you have there.

I like it a lot, it's pretty high up on my EDC list. Very thin, very light, takes a pretty good edge. Probably not good for heavy use like say a Buck 112, but a good all around slicer.
As you've probably noticed, the prices are all over the place, but by patient shopping I found my copy for under $100.

Thanks for the info. I have noticed the prices all over. That might be because some of them are fakes. I bought one months ago that turned out to be a fake Chinese knock off. Very hard to tell unless you have the box and the padded, fitted cut out Styrofoam. Fooled me. So I sent it back. I do like the short liners and super light weight and the blade. Thanks for the info and the show.

That's why I won't buy "USA made" tacticals on eBay, too many Chinese knockoffs out there scamming unsuspecting buyers. And they fake the boxes too!

Amen, it's hard to tell and had to watch a video to learn how to tell the fakes. Very subtle differences. Gotta go to a legit dealer to be sure I guess.

Nice ones, gents!

Starting my back to work week with a Keen Kutter dogleg that Herb fixed up for me. The pen was snapped and it was in pretty rough shape. Looks better now, and it will cut. 😉
