I haven't done any handle repair/replacement in some time now so I ordered this knife
without the handles. I have some Buffalo horn or some imitation MOP I was thinking of
using. I'll just have to wait until it gets here to decide.

I broke my streak. I haven’t bought a knife in I don’t know how long, well over a year. The other day I googled Camillus 70 to find a picture to send someone who’d asked about different cattle knives, and up came a little “treasure store” in Minnesota that had one in stock. Price was right, so I took a chance.

The blades are stained, who knows what shape it’s in, but this darn addiction sometimes takes over my better judgment. I hope y’all are stronger than me. Here are the seller’s pics.

Bought this little feller for next to nothing. It was the blade that fished me in. They're calling it a key chain knife. Gonna be awhile before I get it since it's coming all the way from China.

I surely never have seen anything like that one, but that Wharncliff blade surely does have Jerry D written all over it. ::tu::

Ya outed me Marco. I'm a hypocrite, guilty as charged. In the early years on AAPK I bad mouthed Chinese knives and then I bought one (cheap as dirt in the early years) and then another and then I stopped bad mouthing them and now I have a bunch of them.

I get it Jerry! I recall reading that you had a Chinese knife that really impressed you, but you gave it away or sold it, and are disappointed you did. How's the saying go, "You don't know what you've got until it's gone!" You provided the opening buddy, so I took it with the hopes of being funny, which I also hope you know! You can use the "C" word anytime you like, my friend, it won't bother me, how the others feel I can't say! ::shrug:: 8) P.S.-I have a bunch of them too! ::facepalm::

I guess I should have posted that differently because the first part happened loooong before you joined. For some reason, lately, I'm stepping all over my crank on a regular basis. ::facepalm:: Somebody shoot me now. ::facepalm::

I, too, was at least limiting myself on the China knives - I limited myself to only those designed with the turquoise/Southwest look. But, went to SMKW recently, and they had a table full of their Rough Ryder and Marble’s knives on sale. I walked out with about 10 that I had said I’d never buy! ::facepalm::
