Very cool John! I'm really liking the red Case, not so much the Canadian designed D H Russell fixer, it's such an odd shape that I've never really cared for, but that's just me, I'm sure plenty of guys love it. The scenery of the rushing water certainly makes up for it though! 8)

The lionsteel is very nice, and I’ve see you have many, I have seen your pic’s and post of them on BF.

I'm definitely a fan of Lionsteel. Wish I could get the roundhead carbon fiber with a damasteel blade.

That's Silver Falls state park in Oregon, we had to drive through pretty heavy snow to get there. The park has quite a few falls but since it was cold and I hadn't brought good dry or warm gear We just went to the closest one.

Sounds like you know the area. We were there when it was cold out so not too crowded.

I grew up in Corvallis, spent many days at Silver Falls, boy scout hikes, senior skip days, field trips and visiting to show people. It's incredible to do the whole 3 mile hike and see all those falls. I don't recall how many, but seemed like there were about 20 in that loop. Great stuff. Natural wonder and such pretty rivers and falls around every bend in the trail. Thanks for taking me back.
