Ran across a United Custom Made Canoe

Post by Buck Casey »

Found this nice saw bone Canoe at an Antique Store. Bone looks great. Might go in the EDC category for me.

Now that is definitely a nice knife worth putting in the pocket, to use,
and to show.

I've got a few United knives and they are very well made.
You've got a nice one! ::tu::

I like the unique jigging pattern and the deep etch; looks really nice. I am not sure what to call that jigging style. Barcode jigging, maybe? Anyway, it stands out in a good way.
United contracted out through some really good makers with some of their knives. Is this one made in Japan, or does it say? It looks like it to my untrained eye.

Rough Ryder uses a similar type of jigging they call saw cut jigging.
It's not identical but similar.
