If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

My sister has had her two GSP brothers (on the left) that a 1 year apart in obedience school more so than not, and they're still rambunctious. We call them the Moron Brothers. The black faced one in the back is a sweetheart and listens, same with the old man on the front right. Those two love playing frisbee, but the old one not so much anymore, he's 13 I think.

Redrider, does GSP stand for German short hair pointers?

Beijing would have eaten the green bean. Maybe only little dogs are fond of them? ::shrug::

Great pointers John. That breed was the family dog all my life with my parents, may they rest in peace. I remember back in 1970' when we lived in Kentucky when Princess and Hazel (her eye color), Mom and daughter respectively, would get out and run the Kentucky woods. We lived at the edge of a subdivision one house away from miles of woods. Went back years ago and those woods the dogs and I romped and hunted in are now houses.

Anyway, those dogs would piss Dad off when they went on their woods adventure. Everytime they came home it was tweezers and a hammer on back patio concrete slab pulling ticks from dog ears and smashing them. Think the record was 50 ticks from one dog ear. Miss those dogs.

On another note, my two on dawn patrol just now. Best friends and swivelheads...

I think it is best for dogs to have a dog best friend. It has to enrich their lives.

True that Garry! Still trying to figure out if friends, boyfriend and girlfriend with non-working parts or Brother and Sister. I am taking the tertiary option on that one.

Funny story. I was concerned when I brought the young pup home as the old guy is a bit odd and I belong to him, he doesn't belong to me if you know what I mean. Newcomer pup may be enriching or heartbreaking to him. Thankfully, it turned out to be the former.
Explained (or at least tried to) to my Sister. Her reply, "why, do you think he will have sex with her?"

What? NO! He is 15 years old and she is 3 months old. Obviously she missed my point and concern.

Yes Sam. Never had a dog that did that nor would I tolerate it. The old guy does some weird funky dance once in a while that is his version of that. Almost like a seizure. First time I saw him do it I freaked out like what the heck is wrong here.

This little sweetie showed up on my lanai (that's a porch for you mainlanders!) one day looking hungry (don't they always ). So, I gave her some meaty table scraps and apparently she took that as an invitation to move in permanently. I believe she thinks I'm HER pet now. ::nod::

Didn't take her long to discover a cozy napping spot on a shelf in my office using my repurposed steak knife letter opener as a pillow!

She wouldn't open her eyes for the photo, but she did move her head slightly when I asked her to so you could see her "knife pillow"!! ::yawn:: ::zzz::

Cats have a way of settling in to your place, whether you feed them or not. We have had strays show up here out in the country and have tried not feeding them and they stay anyway, so we break down and feed them. Next thing you know we are off to the vet with them to get their shots and to check for disease. It always happens to soft hearted people.
She is a beautiful cat.

Wanted to share this drawing of our dog Jake that my daughter Lorelai gave to me for my birthday.
First, 2 pictures of our dogs Jake & Amy. Then the drawing of Jake. It looks even better than my pictures of it shows. Thanks for looking! ::handshake:: ::tu::

We cannot have a dog, as my autistic son has a very bad aversion to them for some reason.
But my oldest daughter and her husband have two, and I got to meet "the Grandpups" Sadie and Dizzy for the first time yesterday!
They were excited, but very sweet, and I got lots of kisses from them.
