I inherited a really nice Case collection. In going through some of them, I found one of the older ones which is in near mint condition (a 4 blader) and there is one spot of rust on a blade. Is there any way to completely get this off without ruining anything? I found it on the online price guide and it WOULD HAVE BEEN worth alot of money except for this and I am sick. Heeeelp.
Thanks
Charlie

Number 2 lead pencil. Scrub the rust spot with the lead, NOT the eraser. Wipe it off with soft cloth and oil the blade. Ain't gonna make the pit go away but won't destroy any remaining finish.

Rust is rust on my car's fender, Patina is rust on my knife blade.
