Thats a beauty FFF, glad to see one out and about. Of all from that run yours is the only one I see around here. Great show and keep advertising
Beautiful knife, love that jigging and color. Great blades too.
Sweet Bull Nose. Looks well loved on too, best way to have them.

Going with a Karate OTF in D2 and Jade G-10 today. New USA company, I'm impressed and waaaaaaaaaay more affordable than their equally produced competition.
How do you like that auto? I followed your lead and knabbed one for a nephew who loves autos and can't really afford the Microtechs. He loves it, thanks for the heads up.
Beautiful pair. I am really liking that wood, the desert ironwood has got some of the best grain I've ever seen. Sweet looking knives.
The old Robeson is still with me after a few days. The Camillus Scout just showed up and in the pocket it went.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
My EDC is this one:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09G2 ... BR9AN&th=1
It is a cheap knife, but I look at it scientifically rather than sentimental value. Also, I have to do work on it to make it good. I pick this because it is strong inside out which I will show in a little bit. the lining on each side with the frame lock is 0.06" thick, this make a strong foundation. The blade material is D2 which is mid-low end steel. For self defense, edge retention is NOT the most important thing, toughness is more important in survival situation.
Here are a few pictures of my modified knife.
1) I choose this knife because there is a very deep curve so the index finger rest securely in to prevent the knife from being push into the hand when doing shanking. I even smooth out the frame lock show by the RED arrow to make the curve deeper. I also cut the end of the handle shorter to make it shorter for carrying.
2) I work on the frame lock to have a deep engagement as shown by the RED arrow. Look at the frame lock is sitting well inside the width of the blade.
3) Lastly, and just as important as the deep curve for the index finger. The internal part of the blade where it rotate on the handle. You'd be surprised a lot of heavy duty looking knives are very thin on that part. That to me is a critical part of the knife. If you use the knife to pry, you put a lot of stress on that part. It need's to be thick. The part on this knife is quite robust as shown:
I have more expensive knives, but this clearly the best bar none. I am waiting for the Off-Grid Enforcer and see whether it's any better. I am not done shopping yet.
I really sharpen all my knives, NONE of them came sharp at all, I have to sharpen every single one of them.

I sell the cobratech OTF and not had the first problem with them. I bet I’ve sold 20 of them and I can’t imagine paying 3x the money for MT they can’t be that much better.1967redrider wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 11:49 pmIvoryman wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 8:39 pm1967redrider wrote: ↑Thu Oct 13, 2022 12:17 pm Awesome carries, Scott and David.![]()

Nice duo, Ivory.Glad to have helped, too. I love the Karate Tactical OTF and don't see how the Microtechs could be any better. The best part was the price, and F&F is totally beyond that of the $30 versions.

Also have had good results from the OTF Templar knives. I think they all may come from same factory because a little different in them.

I really like that Boker, Dogg. The tree shield is one of my favorites. They made a.cool looking barlow with the tree stamp on the bolster, which I always admired. Boker made some good knives, yours is a fine example.

Cold Steel AD-10 vs. Buck 722, both in S35VN. The weight of the CS is probably close to twice that of the Buck.

Thanks, that's what I think about every time you post a pair. Beautiful Cattle knife too, and very nice Sheffield Lambsfoot.

Well, just to have a little contrast with all the great looking knives being posted, here's one of my shop knives that is certainly not beautiful by any stretch, but is quite functional nonetheless!
It's a Colonial by the way.
