Case knife boxes

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Case knife boxes

Does anyone know what kind of box the 1984 case club knife came in? It is an 88 pattern.

More than likely it had no box for the knife itself. The early CCC knives came in a square cardboard box with the plaque the knife went on with the COA and the knife was in a padded envelope in the box with the rest of the stuff
