I bought this knife about 15 yrs. ago with 2 german swords for $50.00. I was told the knife was a german paratroppers knife. Any help would be appreciated.

That is a very nice knife! To answer your question, yes it is a german paratrooper knife, also known as a gravity knife. There should be some german proof marks on the marlin spike. check to see if they are there. The condition look outstanding!

Thanks. There are some markings on the spike but I can't make them out there very small. I tried to zoom in with my camera but didn't work. There is a piece broke from the spike about half way aroundth back edge
