Is this a fake Case knife?
I bought this on EBay and there were not real clear pictures of the tang stamp but the box looked real to me. It has a stamp that I haven’t seen before- it also has some etched writing on Bolster that didn’t show clearly in pictures.

That's a real case knife. Looks like a company had someone engrave the bolsters and they gave them out to their employees.

Ok thanks! looking at box I had no questions but when I pulled it out and saw the engraving and the unfamiliar to me tang stamp I started questioning it. I appreciate your input

Early model 'large' (..549) Copperlock ... 1999 to be exact.
Pattern first introduced in '97 with the 'mini' (..749) released the next year.
Good catch !

I like the information Case puts on the box sticker. But I have never had any luck searching by their Item numbers. Does anyone know the trick to it?
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
