Sheffield Rodgers - Graley knife ?

Hi there guys.

I really need some help with this one.

It looks like an ordinary castrator type of blade but it is rodgers and has marked on the blade GRALEY KNIFE. This was marked on the blade by rodgers. I have absolutely no clue what it means, out of all the pattern books i have seen, i have not seen that mark and the internet brings nothing up. If anyone knows anything, i would be really appreciative of some help. It cost quite a lot (for what it is) : /

Has anyone seen it on a blade before?

As i bought this knife in America, i thought someone here may know something.

WOW!! That might have the ill fated astronaut's Sir Edward Smythe-Begooten-Graley's knife that he was to carry to the moon when he was scheduled to be shot from Jule's Vern's cannon!!!

I've also had no luck googling or dog piling the word GRALEY that would seem to tie in to that REALLY NEAT knife!!! Sorry.

I hope some one somewhere can solve the riddle.
