Razors

Post by PA Knives »

HI!

Just happened to have this photo of some razors made in Tidioute in my file and thought I would share. Two are marked Union Razor, Tidioute PA and the Two are Pennsylvania Knife Co. Tidioute. All have been helpful with my research for the book project. To have some with boxes is even better. I got these all in one purchase from a fellow in Titusville PA. I also have a Union Razor Strop for those that might be interested in seeing it. Just to prove that these things are out there, you just have to dig VERY deep to find them. ENJOY the hunt, it is 90% of the fun. ::tu::

Hello PA nice razors

Post by Kiferbros »

it is so important to show that some of the fabled knives and razors are really out there. sometimes you question if they really exist or not. In my earlier post where I showed some of our razors you may have noticed the pliad cattaraugus razor, that is the only plaid catt I have ever seen except in books. one pic that I have yet to post (maybe tonight) is a kane candystripe covered tang razor and kane candystripe pocket knife. so they are out there just very few so it is nice to see them when you can.

the smethport that I posted eairler was a 7 year search. at times I heard conflicting stories and was doughting if we would ever find one and we ran into a guy at the case show a few weeks ago by total accident and he had one, so it is now ours.

keep hope alive.
