Summit Knife Company

I recently bought a knife at a flea market. It is a Summit Knife Company. The seller said they were in business in the USA from 1906-1920, but I can't find any other information on the internet on it and I don't have any knife books other than on the usual collectables. Does anyone have any other information?

C. Houston Price's book lists a Summit Knife Co. as being owned by Pavian-Adams of St. Paul Minn. from 1906 - 1920

There is also a Summit Cutlery Co. listed in Goins also owned by Pavian-Adams.

Finally, there is a Summit Cutlery Co. in New Jersey listed in Goins

This is a Summit Knife Company 3 1/2" cigar jack. Goins has the Summit Knife Co tang stamp listed but doesn't give any dates. Goins has Summit Cutlery Co listed as making knives from 1906 to 1920 and Summit Cutlery Co. Jersey City NJ from 1917 to 1921 but gives no indication whether they are all related or not. Any info from my fellow collectors would be appreciated.

Here is a Summit Knife Co. cigar jack that is 3 5/8" closed.
A very solid knife with a very thin center liner.

Mine is very well made but has seen much use and I would classify its condition as fair. When I first got it in hand I was reminded of older Camillus knives. I'm still hoping someone out there might have some more information.
