Case XX Peanut with different colored handles-

Post by DMLEATH »

This is an older Peanut and the handles are very different colored- was there a reason Case did this? One side is light tan and the other one red

Case did not normally make any effort to match handle covers from one side to the other so some mismatch is not unusual. However the knife in your pics appears to have marks where the knife was wired to a display board. It likely was exposed to sun or other bright light for years, making the mark (displayed) side covers fade.

Yes that one has "Late Rogers" bone handles, faded on front.
