Thanks Q, thanks Squach, appreciate the comments as always. Mother Nature to me is the best backdrop, always varied and different day to day and season to season. Thanks again.

Great shot Squach, love all the things going on in there. And that might be the best looking delrin I've ever seen on that folder. Nice pic.

Thanks Iman!! ::super_happy:: The small folder is an old KaBar jack and the fixed blade is an older Case 366.

Here are a couple of shots from our afternoon walk.

Charlie it's not just your knife photo's I like but it's the back drop, the setting that is always so appropriate for the particular knife.... ::tu::

Thanks Dan and David!

I just look for things that "please my eye" when I'm out walking the Muffin Head. Sometimes I choose a knife to take with me for a photo and other times I just shoot whatever knife I happen to be carrying.

I concur. You have a good eye Charlie. And I hope Muffin Head is thriving.

Thanks QS!! I guess my "eye" was trained by growing up running around on the high desert and mountains out west. The Magnificent Muffin Head is doing fine. He bounced back from his surgery very quickly and doesn't seem to suffer any ill effects from the loss of a toe. ::tu::

I was color coordinated on our walk today....didn't realize it until I started pulling knives out of my pocket to shoot a couple of pics. Couple of GREEN handled knives today.

Nice use of the lighting in that Laguiole shot, Joeradza.

Charlie, those are some cool photos. I always like the background in your shots: like looking at a nature book. I think the last photo is my favorite with the fissured remains of a decomposed log.
