Thanks for steering me in the proper direction. Seems like a pretty good knife overall.
Lookin' good, Tom!

It is a very nice knife and love a Trapper, but those scales do look very washed out. Sorry for the shady representation of the knife.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 2:52 pm Super fast delivery but a disappointment. Compared to the stock picture the handles are washed out and a pale comparison.
(like the shield though)

I like that one, too. You done good!
Sure doesn't look as good as the one in the stock photo. But I'd carry the heck out of it. As light as it is, some use and age might give it some nice character.jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 2:52 pm Super fast delivery but a disappointment. That's another option...but proceed with care.
Thanks Willie!Steamboat Willie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 5:59 pmNice catch Tom![]()
I’ve always admired Craftsman branded knives, but so far I’ve only bought one. I fear those rabbit holes you were previously warned about. I’ve been on a bit of a Camillus binge recently.![]()

Thank you for the kind words! Is it just difficult to find or import them into where you are? I ask because I am just unfamiliar with the regulations there. Obviously, where I am Ka-bars are very accessible.TPK wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 3:25 amNice looking stockman!Whitneyrifle wrote: ↑Mon Aug 08, 2022 10:45 pm Just came in this afternoon. I haven't managed to pick up any Kabars yet. I've only run across a couple of them in the last 3 or so years and they were fixed blades.

You still have a great looking knife there, Jerry!jerryd6818 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 2:52 pm Super fast delivery but a disappointment. Compared to the stock picture the handles are washed out and a pale comparison.

Most of my knives, I buy on eBay Germany but the number & selection of American made knives is often very limited. The knives that I do buy in the U.S. (such as on the AAPK) I have sent to my Mom's house in Maryland & then when she sends us a package she puts my knives in with whatever she is sending us.Whitneyrifle wrote: ↑Wed Aug 10, 2022 11:40 amThank you for the kind words! I let my buddy have his choice, he surprised me and went with the autumn bone. I really couldn’t decide my self so I was happy wit either. So this is my edc carry today
Great stuff!

He’s still got a few on sale on his Second Life Knives web page. I see people asking $25 for plain Old Timers all the time, Jeff’s $39 8OT that has been customized like this is a steal of a deal for a quality product.Steamboat Willie wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 7:11 pm Great stuff!I’ve got three of Jeff’s knives myself, and I’m sure there’ll be more!
