Villager khukuri restoration
I picked up 4 old khukuris last week , all needing restoration, the one I did first was a old villager type with a traditional partial tang, it had a lovely scabbard with a kissa (tinder pouch) on it , it was all hanging off and the leather had dried out, so I spent the week feeding the leather and Saturday evening I sat in the garden doing the repairs and made a tinder purse , I've restored the blade as much as I want to it just needs sharpening, the handle has a little bit of play so will remove it and re glue it
I had a old villager in the 80's so I cant wait to get this out on camp , it's the top one in the second pic down
