The Petty Legend Case Knife Set

Post by javy »

Does anyone have an estimate of value to this set of knives? They were made for the Cash and Carry company 1500 were made, they are in a cherry presentation case. I know very little about collector knives so any help would be greatly appreciated. The cert of authenticity says they are a BWC 61050SS... a BW 61251/2SS and a BW 6221/2SS. It also says this a coke bottle pattern.

Hello Javy,

The only advice that I can give you is to keep an eye on eBay for similar items and see what they sell for. That will give you a ballpark figure. I have a hard time nailing down prices on such items. There seems to be more factors in the value than I can keep track of. The fact that it is Richard Petty will help. The amount manufactured will also have an influence on price. 1500 is not a whole lot, but it's not scarce either.

Hey Javy,

I just found this...

Scroll down to the 8th question. The figure that they give sounds a little high to me, but who knows?
