Re: Old Wrench Knives
Did some re-profiling on the O. Barnett I just picked up (top one in each photo). Still not completely satisfied but it's getting there. Making sure I don't snap the blade in half while doing this by hand with a bastard file, making sure I keep as much blade as possible. eBay is chock full of ones with broken blades.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Re: Old Wrench Knives
Thanks, Dimitri and that is really cool. Looks like that wrench knife has all of the essentials.

Re: Old Wrench Knives
Took me a while to find one of these in good condition, tang stamped Valley Forge.
Has the original blade etch but is hard to see because someone laid the blade flat on a sharpening stone

Re: Old Wrench Knives
I searched this thread to see my Barnett wrench knife and to my surprise I did not show it.
I also searched the forum to see where I had placed it and could not find it. (I don't do the search thing very well)
Well, at long last winded here it is.
This tool has a great, two cutting edge, punch on it.
Edit to add: Beautiful knives previously shown.
