Help with Parsons knife
I have this Parsons knife that doesn't have much information. I have had some pretty good offers for it. I am not sure what it is worth. I don't mind giving someone a good deal but I don't want to give it up too cheap. Can anyone help?

My 1991 Houston Price, COLLECTOR KNIVES lists a Michael R. Parsons, 1600 S. 11th St., Terra Haute, IN ,477802. Don't know much about Mr. Parsons but that's a beautiful knife, especially the butt cap. Pretty work. Good luck with it. J.O'.

Re: Help with Parsons knife
Here are a couple that were sold on Arizona Custom Knives. Note the dates in comparison to prices. Filework probably raises the value but that nice stag (looks like elk) would make it close to equal value IMHO.

Not to sound petty, but it's actually Terre with an "e" at the the end not an "a". And 47802, only one "7".Ridgegrass wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 10:37 pm My 1991 Houston Price, COLLECTOR KNIVES lists a Michael R. Parsons, 1600 S. 11th St., Terra Haute, IN ,477802. My dad made this knife. He was a knife maker in Texas in the 80’s.

My dad passed away several Years ago. But yes he made absolutely beautiful knives. I spent most of my childhood playing outside of his shop and going to gun and knife shows with him all over Texas. If you’re looking to sell it I course would love to own it.please you can email me.

Also, Welcome to AAPK, Aimeparsons1! I just noticed that you are a new member. Pull up a chair and make yourself at home here at the best knife forum in the world.
We love to see knives, so please share pictures of any knife, anytime. Share any memories that honor your father as well. It took a special kind of guy to choose knifemaking back before the Internet and "Forged in Fire" made it a popular hobby, and we love to learn all that we can.
