Case Fixed Blade Question-

Trying to determine is this is a real Case knife and what number it is- it does not have a number- the CASE on tang stamp looks like it could be the 1940-1965. Any help is appreciated!

Pattern # is 523-3-1/4. You are correct on the vintage.
