Just picked up this dandy…JE Rnbolaget Eskilstuna Hunter with gut hook, made in Sweden original grind and sheath. 9 7/8 OAL. No cracks in stag handle. And just to clear it up it’s not my Bugatti

Thanks much…they sold almost instantly, they sure are slick, the Benchmade has a safety on it but it is slick also, I’m sure the fact you got is the same.
Yes that's right bud, both my manual and auto Fact's have spine-mounted safeties, and as much as I'm not a fan of safeties the one's on these knives are totally unobtrusive and nearly unnoticeable so I don't mind them at all. 8)

Oh I don' know Whit, that'd be fairly close to my closed sweet-spot cuz it would convert to about 8" or so with the blade open,(notice I said BLADE and not BLADES!)and anything that length or longer is right in my wheelhouse. Glad you're happy with your find, it's not my style but still way cool! 8)

I know it likely has a very good use, but the knife just doesn't do anything for me, no offence, now the Bug on the other hand....., wow! A nice refreshing treat Jamie, thx! 8)

I’m sure you don’t need a gut hook there in Winnipeg…. But here in USA you may need it just to go to Piggly Wiggly….never know when SHTF down here and lead and blades start flying.

I knew it was a gut hook but since there's little use for one around here I rarely see any. I've heard those Piggly Wiggly's were rough spots to get your groceries, never know when an oinker will jump out at you! 8)

Sure is a nice-looking knife! The Bugatti looks also looks good. (There was a Matchbox model of it made in the 1960s, which is as close as I'd ever get!)

Thanks on the nice words…the Bugatti would just be another toy that leaked oil on my garage floor.

Well, if it turns out to actually be the last knife purchase you make for the year ~Q~, at least it's another sensational pick! If you really are going to stop buying until next year I wish you all the luck in the world, but please don't make yourself miserable cuz you're denying yourself what you like and want, after all, it's really only paper with ink scrawled on it. Beautiful knife you showed today! 8)

Jamie, I am wondering if your focus on Scandanavian knives might reflect your own heritage. Certainly Nordic knives are the fruit of a great knife culture.

Nope I’m 100% Irish, but that does put my focus on beer consumption, I just pick up knives that either I like or is a good deal.
