Thanks a bunch, appreciate it and one of my favorite Case knives period. Of course Case discontinued the pattern. That's actually a '40-'64 47 pattern, single spring Clip and pen. Thanks again, glad people like seeing it as much as I like that knife. Got if from Knifeaholic, check his stuff out if you haven't.

Today I broke out the Kutmaster hawkbill I purchased from GSPTOPDOG last year. It was put to work on the pesky tree that likes to encroach into my driveway. When the job was done, it got a cleaning and some fresh oil.

Today's EDC will probably get a good workout, at least the cap lifter part.

Looking back through the thread, I have to say it again... I love that knife! Patriotism and bottle-opening-beer-drinking EDC (which is synonymous with patriotism! See; Green Dragon Tavern. The Sons of Liberty, Committee of Correspondence and the Boston Caucus met there. The Boston Tea Party was planned there and Paul Revere set off from this tavern for his Midnight Ride...I suspect after having a few beers which might have been RWI back then and I do not endorse that... except maybe in the cause of freedom Independence and liberty and now this post has gone officially completely OFF the rails... my aplogies... )
