Looks like a full blade on that old #1 .
What are the two beady eyeballs attached too in the first picture?

That is a supposed to be a bear carved out of piece of wood. I use as a totem, to bring good luck when looking for short-lines.

G dog ,not sure if it’s my totem or obsession. Haven’t been scoring much lately . You just snagged 2 #1 s in a short period , that’s not to shabby ,your totem is working . Take care out there and happy hunting .GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 3:03 amThat is a supposed to be a bear carved out of piece of wood. because you ALWAYS seem to grab the best ones!

Here is a Kline tool knife I picked up yesterday at a flea market.
I don't know who made it but it is very solid.
Thanks for looking.

Thanks, Mark and GSPTOPDOG! Nice pick-ups from GSPTOPDOG and FRJ, too.
A Victorinox Bantam with economy scales was delivered to me today. For some reason, I was the sole bidder. It has the older combo tool with no half-stop, so it likely dates to the early 1980s.

I think that particular one is a Utica, who made them until relatively recently (2020). Klein has moved the entire 1550 line overseas. Some are still produced by Utica (who hasn't produced them as Kutmaster, their house brand, for 3-4 years now) for Proto.

Bear & Son Bourbon barrel razor Barlow. This is my second “limited edition” Bear & Son from Red Hill Cutlery. I get the feeling they inspect these collaborations carefully as the build quality is truly excellent. The walk and talk on both of the knives I got from them were a little rough but it’s loosened up perfectly with some oil and twenty or so back and forth openings. No gaps in the springs, liners, scales, no side to side blade sway and very sharp out of the box.

Nice catch!
I wish there was a decent flea market in my neck of the woods.
I got a Decatur in a package deal with several other knives a year or so ago. I love the light weight and smooth action, though I rarely carry it. I’m a little rough and tumble with my knives and I’m afraid I’ll damage the darn thing. It’s usually with me on poker night though

Thanks, Mark! I do have quite a few of 'em, and I could do well to cull the herd. In fact, one is on its way out tomorrow.
I'm not a big Barlow fan, but the Bourbon barrel covers would be an exception. Very cool!
Nice quartet, LJ! The Buck in particular is a real looker.
