AAPK Fun Trivia Game

Post by jerryd6818 »

For several years, I've been the only one playing AAPK's Fun Trivia Game (located at https://www.funtrivia.com/private/main.cfm?tid=69203). Probably because no one that has joined AAPK in the past few years knows that it exists.

New players are most welcome but must have a password to create a new account. Please pm smiling-knife for your password.

I used to play that back in the day Jerry. Got to be where I was obsessed with it, and panicked to remember to play every day and try to do it the fastest. I had to give it up for my sanity, LOL.

I'm sorry you're the only one who is playing...

Glenn, if you remember, there were 10 or more that played the game semi-regularly and then one by one they faded away until for a while, no one played (for a while, including me). I find, as I get older, it helps keep my brain active. It's a little sad that everyone "jumped ship" but it's sad that most that used to play, for whatever reason, no longer show up on AAPK.

I just finished signing up for an account (username AloxBantam). Once I can figure out how to PM you over there, I'll join in the game.

As far as I know there is no PM as we know it here on AAPK. As shown in the image below, you can email or post a comment that's seen by everyone.

Greg, 1st time I've had competition in a long time. :mrgreen:

As for the others, it's quite simple. It's multiple guess and the game is timed so even if you did get all the answers correct but it took you two or three minutes, you're probably not going to win that day.

The games change daily and categories are posted on the home page as shown below. smiling-knife does occasionally change the categories but it hasn't been frequently. I seem to remember he did it more frequently when there were more playing the game but don't take that for gospel.

Explore the game home page. It will give you features and answers to questions you haven't asked.

Don't know where you're going with this. I'm just a player. If you want to do this, you need to contact Smiling Knife.

It's definitely fun. I've always enjoyed playing trivia games. I had forgotten all about this one. I'll try keep up again although I am dreadfully slow compared to most folks.

Wouldn't have the slightest. So when is the last time you saw him post on AAPK? That should give you some kind of clue. Maybe he never signs on here anymore. Try an email.

I owe the membership an apology. Once again I've gone off half-cocked. A little research shows that Steve (smiling-knife), to whom this little contest belongs, has not been active since Mon Jun 24, 2019 10:32 am and he doesn't have an email address associated with his user name, soooooooo, no joy in Mudville. Bottom line, if you were not a member of the trivia challenge, there is no way I can see of becoming a member since there's no way I know of to get in touch with Steve and he's the only one that can authorize you.

My abject apologies folks. ::facepalm::

I don't know if he sent out a different password for everyone but here is the one he sent me CASEXX. Seems pretty generic. Might as well give it a try.
