It looks like the George Wostenholm has sunken joints like the Joseph Rodgers.
Coined liners on the Wostenholm.

Two beautiful knives, for sure. Classic over the top skilled craftsmen from those two cutlers.

Thanks Mike and Joe. The Wolstenholm does have sunken joints.

At 3 7/8", this Wostenholm sports an older stamp with no * in the IXL, Goins says 1850-1890.
