Carl Sclieper "Pride of Texas" set value

Anybody know what the value is on a Carl Sclieper "Pride of Texas" set?

Don’t recall ever seeing one but you might check ebay sold listings for Schlieper knives and look for something similar that has sold. Value of yours is probably similar. Knife values depend on age, condition, and how much demand exists for the set. From your description sounds like probably a ready-made “collectable”, of which there are thousands of knives/sets by various makers.

I believe the Eye Brand Pride of Texas set was commissioned by James Marek of Houston, Texas, through Carl Schlieper and Knife Importers of Austin, Texas in the mid 1980's. The set consists of two J model trappers, one in bone handles commemorating the Alamo and one in cracked ice handles commemorating the space program involving the successful landing on the moon. I have not seen this set offered before on ebay but it might be out there somewhere. As a SWAG, the value should be north of $200 as a set.
