Case Classics one bladed Tested XX

I picked up a Case Classic knife over the weekend....I don't know very much about the Classics hoping that I can learn some information
This knife is almost 5 1/2 inches one bladed Hand Made in the box with beautiful handles....
I will let the pictures speak for the knife
I would like to learn anything Thanks in advance

Looks like a Case Classic 71050L, probably 1990. 1990 is the only year shown on knifedb.com for that pattern/handle combination. Celluloid “caramel swirl” handle covers. Made by Queen for James Parker, marketed through Blue Grass Cutlery in partnership with Parker. You can find all manner of info about Case Classics here by using the search capability.

Many of these Case Classics having celluloid covers ( there were several patterns on which celluloid was used, in several colors) have had problems with celluloid outgassing, so best to keep a close eye on it and store it separately well away from other knives or metal objects, just in case.

Thank you Ken good to hear.... I will keep the knife in it's box...I'm familiar with the outgassing because I collected Fighting Roosters knives and learned that lesson the hard way lol....I wasn't aware that knife would do that...one of the main reasons I bought the knife is a distant cousin Junior Ferguson (now deceased) used to put handles on knives for Case and other companies and I thought that might be one of his....I have a Fighting Rooster knife he personally added the handles and the Case knife resembles the Rooster knife ...I'll try and get a pic of the knife
