Union Knifeworks NYC

I posted this in the General knife forum, but I think this is more appropriate here:
I normally collect Ka-bar marked Union Cut Co. and early pre-model numbered Ka-bars. Looking around today, I did find a Union, but not the Union I expected! I couldn’t pass it up…..I know they are rare, but any experts out there have more input/info? ::hmm:: ::hmm::

Goins encyclopedia lists that stamp: 1911 - 1913.

That's a good looking knife.

Union Knife Works was a Platts Bros company located in Union, NY near Binghampton.
