Dan In MI wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 5:58 pm The mailman was good to me today. I received a lot of four knives purchased for $19.15 out-the-door. Clockwise from top left: a Victorinox Rover (the best of the lot), a Camco cap-lifter jack (needs help) a Japanese Omor lockback (possibly a write-off) and an Ideal jack (needs a good cleaning and oiling). I suspect the Camco and/or Ideal may be celluloid, so they're in isolation for now.

Knife Lot.jpg

I also received an order from SMKW. Both the Bear & Son 109YW and the Rough Ryder Blue Mule toothpick will be carriers.

Bear & Sons And Rough Ryder.jpg

I put my first impressions of those two on video (if you don't want to watch, first impressions are pretty favorable, except for the Bear & Son being more gold than yellow).

Some neat finds Dan, will be sure to check out the YT vid. ::tu::

Well, she’s the smallest one in my collection now, but she is one of my favorites for my Ka-bar family. A Brown Brothers in pretty decent condition. (My first Brown Brothers)

I knew you would be shocked on the color, I made a offer to a feller on the bay and he accepted it. You know on true auctions shame there is no way to tell if we are bidding against one another….I truly would not bid on something a AAPK brother was bidding on.

A rough and tumble, 3 3/4", Howard Cut. Co. dog leg with a Keen Kutter secondary.
This knife may have some scars but it has no warts.
A very solid well made knife with no wobble.
A dependable pocket companion for sure. ::nod::
I like dog legs.
Thanks Barry. ::tu::

Joe that equal end just has elegance dripping off of it. These modern day tactical folders can't come close to what that knife has and represents. Good catch... ::tu::

I also bought this finely made Humason & Beckley from Barry.
A very nice little whittler at 3 5/16" closed.
I think it was it's old matchstrikes that drew me in. :)
Thanks again, Barry. ::handshake::

This one showed up in my mail box yesterday. Bought it from the gentleman that I had purchased the CCC Barlow from. It is a McGrew Knife Company 710MGB Single Blade Pony Jack, with the yellow delrin handles. It was made by Camillus and is the same pattern as the Camillus 710Y. It is like new, never re-sharpened or carried, in the original box with papers. Another addition for my Pony Jack and McGrew group of knives.
