While stopping at a roadside flea market on my way home today a older fellow came up to me holding a knife and ask me what the tang stamp said, all I could make out was Sargent and it didn't seem to have any other markings anywhere else on it. (that I could see)
It was a older looking knife, and other than being tarnished the blades were full and in great shape, and honestly I can't remember what the handles/scales was made of.
This was a new one on me and I was wondering if some of you folks could shed a little light on these knives for me.
Regardless, I believe I'll try to catch back up with the old guy and try to add it to my collection.
Sargent knives?

OK,
I figured someone would've chimed in by now...so I won't leave you hanging here.
Jim Sargent is pretty famous to knife collectors, especially for his books. But he is also a longtime knife dealer. Here is a link to his website.....

OK then,
I'll try this posting gig now that I've had some coffee.
Sargent's knives might have his name...or some blades might have this logo...

Just as information for you.
BilL (more coffee
