Re: Mail Call !-Post your new pick-ups here............
Got home today from a great weekend in Pigon Forge....we had a very nice and clean cabin. When I get home need to get mail, inside I have a package from Mr. Fimamore, I open a model 97/96 no matter the model number I name this one "dont mess with unless sober knife" because I think I could lose a LIMB with it...
Along side of a 5OT I was lucky enough to get from him a few months back.. The STAY SOBER knife as you can see has his etching on it, a nice touch. Thanks Jeff I more than admire your skill and I guess a lot of patience goes into your work...
Also in the mailbox from Mr Sanders store I was able to purchase 2 Parkers that both have Pearl handles and IM a sucker for a Parker sucker for a canoe and sucker for pearl handles too...Im very glad to have gotten these two also

Nice wood and MOP Jaime. I like the wood pile shots too.
New Huusk just arrived. Liked the looks of the knife a while ago, but only knabbed it last week because it was 70% off. Definitely worth the 19 smackers. But I don't know if I would have said that about full price. Cuts well, slices, peels, and so far so good with all I've used it for. The finger hole isn't really where it works for me, but the handle is comfortable and fits the hand well, so I guess I really don't need the hole. If there is a flaw maybe the blade stock is a bit thicker than I would choose myself, because I like a little thinner blade on the kitchen knives. But, so far it has done everything I have needed.

The pieces you picked-up are all stunning, but like you I'm a sucker for MOP on Parker knives, and although I've been watching the models in Matt's store I've yet to pull the trigger, so I'm glad they went to you who truly appreciates their beauty! Welcome back, glad you're here!

When I first posted the knife in the top 2 pictures awhile back some of you guys were quite impressed with it, and the same guys are aware of my plan to buy as many pairs, meaning manual and automatic as possible, so check out what I found!

Not a mail call but in person buy. I was like a kid in a candy store.
Benchmade Auto Fact and a Microtech Troodon Mini. Saw a couple of Protech semi-customs that I really liked but not the 4 figure price.

Ahh, I would LOVE to be able to do that Willie since I've been searching for a glass-topped case with stacked drawers to store/display my knives in, but so far haven't found any that will ship to Canada, or, even in Canada I could buy. I'm currently displaying them in 7 of those red/black faux leather cardboard displays with elastic bands that sit on a large 3 tiered glass shelved table, my bigger knives hanging on the wall, and a half shelf with 6 plexiglass stands holding 5 knives each, as well as a few REALLY biggies propped up against the wall. I have no complaint how my knive appear the way they are, but the accumulation of dust is making me crazy! A new display for my knives is on a long "Things to do" list so I'm sure things will come together at the right time, and THEN I'll post some pictures for you Willie!Steamboat Willie wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 3:44 amMarco, you’re really going to have to show us a picture of your knife case someday!![]()

Always good to cross one off the want list, especially when it looks that good. Congratulations!
A knife display has been on my priority list for a while. I'd like to have a revolving one like my local Tractor Supply has, but I don't know how feasible that would be.

These 2 puppies arrived today and I couldn't be happier. I spent about an hour cleaning them up and that's all (none of Herb's custom mods). The Case '54 looks like "appaloosa" bone to me, but I don't seen an "A" in the pattern stamp. Anyone know when Case started adding the "A" to the pattern stamp for appaloosa? Oh, and the '54 came from an actual, real auction (Zottlemoyer in Fogelsville PA). I bid on 8 different auctions that day (on-line), and got beat by people who were there in person on all of them except this one. Sorry for the dark pics, I just lost most of the sunlight for today.
