Found this cleaver in Millsboro, DE this morning. At first I thought it said ROBESON but after wiping it clean it said ROBINSON KNIFE CO., Springville, NY
I knew that was a CASE location so I did some research. George Robinson was an English cutler who partnered with W.R. Case around 1927 to form the company. Case sold out to Robinson and David Skerker around 1940 and they made a variety of kitchen items. Since the 1960's they have been contractors making electric knife blades for GE and a variety of specialty blades for choppers, blenders. They are still in business in Buffalo, NY. Not sure if they ever made pocket knives?? J.O'.

Interesting history. Thanks for sharing. It’s a great find
"The Edge...There is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Love to see a pocketknife if anyone has one. It would have a good pedigree. J.O'.
