That area is Sweet Creek Falls, it's not far from Mapleton OR. The trail we were walking is the one the homesteaders used to take their milk down to the Siuslaw River for the trip to the cheese making factory. It's a favorite hike for us.

Thanks guys ::tu:: was a great 4 day camp in the woods, just me and one of ny daughters , she used the Helle nying a lot ::tu::
