It is a hardwood from Central America. I don't know from what tree genus.

I had one in the cart but it was gone before I could check out. 😔

You've beaten your own record,   ::tu:: , according to my computer, gone in 10 seconds. I was on the computer when your notification came through and it caught my eye. Timed their availability, 10 seconds. ::woot:: Good to see all your work being rewarded, and no major glitches after getting all your ducks aligned from the start. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu::

Trying to get one of Eris's gorgeous custom knives is as hard as trying to get a GEC on the drop...and nobody seems to be flipping any Albers knives...at least none that I have found. Really wanted that Curly Mango Wood...but it was gone before I even finished reading the email notification of the drop. ::tear::

Same here. By the time Eric's email gets to my computer, all the knives have been sold.
I think to succeed you have to get your emails on a 'smart phone' as these come through without the delay that happens with a computer. Then you need to have the fastest internet connection and be geographically close to the server that is transmitting the messages because even 1/1000 of a second makes a difference.
Unfortunately only those who are very 'tech savy' and living close to urban centers have a chance to score one of Eric's fine knives. Older guys who still use a computer and live rurally will never get one ::teary_eyes:: :(

They were gone time I got the email. If I never get another one I'm happy with the one I have. :D

Same here. But I’ll never get one - out here in the sticks my WI-FI is so slow I wouldn’t have a chance even if I was looking when the email arrived. ::dang::

I got signed up too and subscribed to the newsletter. The chances of actually getting one is pretty remote, but I am very pleased Eric is having so much success! ::nod::

I do have a knife Eric made under the Red Trout brand.
I think I like it as much or more than my Canal Streets! ::tu::

I saw the email for the recent offerings about a half hour after it was sent. Guess I was about 29:45 minutes late. ::mdm::

Yes David, you and i both being aficionado's of the Lambsfoot, one of these would have been a fine addition to our stable. I particularly liked the photos that Eric posted of the Australian hardwood. Have a good Easter my friend. ::handshake::
