Re: Show off your fixed blades!
These BUCK 102s are small but I really like them. I carried one edc for years at my old job. It wasn't in stag, though. They are plenty big enough to field dress deer-size animals and on to skinning and boning, and then at the table. A darn good knife. Well.... a little small for boning.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Nice buck TR, I have never run on to a stag handled buck. I have an old 425 bucklite that I have used forever, sorry not a fixed blade but I like it. I have noticed that a lot of newer hunters carry a huge knife, most of us older type like a smaller knifer like your 102, in my opinion plenty big enough for most of my hunting duties. Most of the knives I make have 4" blades unless someone orders one larger.

Bought this yesterday in Annapolis.Mint, never touched. Stamped SCHRADE CUT. CO. ---WALDEN---, Hoping it's US made. PRIMOS is a hunting call manufacturer and the accompanying sheath is marked, "Team PRIMOS". Any info welcome. J.O'.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Condor Moonshiner. I was recently sorting my woods pack I carry for fence work and decided to show it off.
I had a hankering for a knife similar in concept to the Collins #18, which in an old Abercrombie Fitch catalog (1909 if I recall) was advertised as being a knife that could handle the tasks of both a machete and small hatchet. Old bolos were out of my price range, as were most modern knives of the type.
It was retired some years ago, and was on sale for $35 shipped. I have used it for darn near everything, and it will quickly cut through small tree limbs, heavy brush, vines, you name it. I am pretty short, so the 12" blade is enough. Blade is also a quarter of an inch thick, which means it's got some weight behind it when it's swung. I was clearing invasive vines behind the barn earlier this week, and it chopped through some limbs that were close to an inch thick in one swing.
Steel I think was advertised as 1075. It's taken a beating and still is sharp. The sheath is really good.
(Case 3318 Stockman for comparison).
Condor, while seemingly a different company, is an upscale brand used by Imacasa for the North American and European markets. Like their matchetes, it is made in El Salvador. What is ironic is that a $15 machete, with shipping these days cost as much as this.

Sorry havent been here for a while but thanks for clarifying it, I just knew what the knifevendor told me because it's really hard to find info of itzzyzzogeton wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 9:59 pmActually, it came out in 2005, there was only a single run made and then Camillus filed for bankruptcy in February 2007. They made nothing in 2007 and very little from October 2006 to the end, mainly cobbling stuff together from spare parts is what I heard.damigg wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 7:37 am Camillus Becker BK77 Extreme which was made from 2005 to 2007 before Camillus teamed up Ka-Bar or I'm not sure how they got together but anyways it's unused and in great shape, for 60 euros haha ! It has that dark finish on the blade but the light screws up the other photo.
60 euros is a really good deal.

I'd love to hear some numbers how much was made and obviously most of them might be long time gone. Everytime I mention the knife most people tell mne that there isn't such a Camillus and dont believe before I show it.zzyzzogeton wrote: ↑Sat Mar 12, 2022 9:59 pmActually, it came out in 2005, there was only a single run made and then Camillus filed for bankruptcy in February 2007. Can't help on numbers. Unfortunately, Camco, aka Tom Williams, Camillus historian was the only man who probably did know all the answers to these types of questions, or at least knew where in the mass of documentation he had the answer was to be found, passed away several years ago.
Mr. Williams was extremely helpful to everyone who needed his assistance and was a wealth of knowledge about all things Camillus. He is truly missed every day by those who knew him.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Thank you gentlemen!!!
That one is made by United Boker and they call it the Red Fox UC 155 and it is unused in the original box. I've been trying to find out as much info on it as I can. From what I've been able to find so far United and Boker teamed up in 1985 and that partnership lasted until 1990 (please correct me if I'm wrong). It was made in Solingen Germany. The knife itself seems to be well made but the accompanying sheath is flimsy. The scales are red jigged bone. The blade steel is only listed as "stainless". As far as value is concerned I found only one instance where a price is mentioned, it went for $80.00 at auction. (I didn't pay nearly that much.) Any further information on this knife would be greatly appreciated.
