Re: Feeling “Blue”
All three of those are great knives. I like that whittler the best, even if it isn’t “blue”.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
Thanks Iman, that is kind of you to say. I try, as much as I can, to only offer knives in my store that I would want in my own collection.Ivoryman wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 4:27 pmMy sentiments exactly whenever I scroll through your store or your posts. Re: Feeling “Blue”
I had long wanted a blue 91mm Swiss Army knife to carry around. Since I recently received a set of blue scales, I put them on this Camper.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
Nice Dan, thanks for reviving this thread. Nice blue covers on that one. SAK’s can have such a wide variety of handles to offer, they have something for everyone.
I got this one in my store recently and it just sold this past week, I forgot to post it here. Bulldog Scout knife with deep blue bone handles.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
Nice B-dog Mark! It might just be my PC screen, but those covers appear to be very much the same color as the Lapis blue on your Moki Exclusive line. Whether that's correct or not they display a really rich deep blue color that's addictively attractive! Very cool!

Fine lookin’ knives, Dan and Mark!
I really like the “weave” scales Case is doing on some knives.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
Thanks Garry. The blue bone on this was just as dark as my Moki Kronos models as Mark stated. I described the jigging as “lizard skin jigged”. Don’t know if that’s what it actually was but I searched for a long time looking at different reptiles and fish scales to see if it was modeled after one of those, the closest I could find was a lizard that looked like it. I wish there was a data base somewhere for different jigging and what it’s called.
Tvic, that basket weave does look interesting. I bet it looks better in person than in the pictures.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
Finally scored this Union Cutlery made by Canal Street razor trapper made with the same blue rope jigged bone that Eric Albers salvaged from Schrade when they closed the US plant. I like that this has NO brass on it. I can add this to my collection of blue rope jigged bone that was saved by Eric.

Re: Feeling “Blue”
Very nice trapper Mark. It looks teriffic brass-free and even has a spey blade instead of the usual clip-point. And the blue is really deep and rich to complete the picture. It will look fabulous in your collection!
